Pesticides and Plastic

👆 THIS IS WHAT WILL DESTROY US!

Worldwide multinational stakeholders know this.

The international medical community know this.

Governments across the globe know this.

But it’s ALWAYS been a too hard basket issue.

Plastic

I’d love to share more information but I’ve been advised it’s considered inappropriate at this stage as it may cause “undue” mass panic. 😐

Ok. In view of that all I can do is this : highly recommend that wherever possible try and go back in time to how our parents and grandparents stored food and water. They used glass, porcelain, baking paper etc. They didn’t use plastic. Where possible try and avoid buying plastic plates or cups or utensils or plastic bottles filled with drinks. When buying food from the supermarket look for non plastic containers for things like rice and sugar and salt. Look for tomato paste in glass jars. Look for pasta in cardboard packets eg Barilla is a safe and very trustworthy brand so when on sale just stock up.

Minimise risk where possible. Example: Cover food with proper plates not plastic film or plastic plates.

Conduct a thorough stock take of your pantry. Make a list of what’s wrapped in plastic and look for non plastic alternatives.

It’s high time WE took OUR health and safety into OUR hands. Vested interests/powerful stakeholders are at the core of thwarting change/reform and THAT leaves OUR health and safety at risk. Make no mistake ... we must be watchful and careful about what we buy and how it’s packaged.

All we will be allowed to hear about plastic is that minimising plastic use is good for the environment.

The brutal truth is far worse! It’s killing us! Literally! The fact that water is INFESTED and INFECTED by micro plastic molecules and all plants and all animals and all humans interact with water every day is just 1 small clue about the magnitude of the damage being caused.

I’ll let others google what happens to sea/land animals and human beings once micro plastic molecules enter the blood stream.

Feel free to post here what you CAN find.

Meantime (this is a first for me)...I’m looking at joining an organisation which takes these sorts of issues far more seriously than just posting bits n pieces on some vague forum like OzPol.

If human beings and animals across our globe can’t eat and drink safe food and safe water ... then we need to ask ourselves a few serious questions like :

1. where is the problem?

2. why are we not addressing it?

Pesticides and Plastic will be the 2 words which will definitely come into the conversation on the environment we should have had decades ago.

Oh and here is some lunch time reading for you all. Try not to get as angry and as upset as I feel right now😩😔
