Which way are we going?

Sth Highlands? Over 1.5 hrs using Motorways.

Sth Coast? Over 1.5 hrs using Motorways.

👆 These are the regions we usually travel to.

Note : To get to the city centre of Sydney it takes us 15 minutes (by train). Yes we can even see the fireworks from our house (upstairs of course).

Predator-Free Miramar aims to protect birds in this area of Wellington, New Zealand's capital, by ridding it of rats - every last one of them.

After donning hi-vis jackets, the volunteers are handed peanut butter - ideal bait for rodents - and poison.

Each is assigned a patch where they will check coil traps and toxin-laced bait boxes. "Good luck fellows," says Dan Coup, who leads the group.

If it takes 1.5 hours to drive to a semi-rural area near Sydney, then you are living in an urban environment. Compared to me where the outskirts of town (that lead to semi-rural areas -- farms and the like) are only 1.5km away from where I live.

Semi-rural areas are places that were once farmland but are now close to the city/towns that they are not actually farmland.
