Ukraine is destroyed -
even if they kick the Russians out there will be nothing left.
Whole cities are razed to the ground.
100s of 1000s of people are dead and as many more maimed for life.
That is not winning anything.

The US GDP and the US military-industrial complex and it's shareholders are the winners. Profits have never been higher.

also - 200,000 square kilometers of the best prime land has been mined.
It could take decades to de-mine it.
If they use depleted Uranium shells it will be unusable for 1000s of years.

A poor woman on the DSP living in a car as she couldn't pay her rent.
She often doesn't eat for 3 days at a time.

and yet elma fudd wants to bring in another truck load of migrants when they keep banging on about housing shortages and keep throwing their hands up in the air as to what to do with it.

Albo believes in a big Australia -
he doesn't care if he creates 10 million people living in poverty.

We'll see 1 million more immigrants within 2 more years -
no houses,
no hospitals,
no schools,
congested roads.

this will be elma fudds legacy. Sad

Uhuh.... The Chinese have their own anti-democracy agenda to push and need to control over a billion Chinese who do not see China maintaining the current system of government for long. There is the issue of Taiwan. India is considered a military/defence concern to the Chinese more than any other country. The United States has their own issues with China. But, sure, you be the one that thinks China would invade Australia in a costly, drawn out war before any other priority that China has.

If you want Australia to build an army, perhaps motivation is the key. Twenty-five years ago, the East Timorese vote to get independence meant that recruitment numbers in the Australian army rose to a point where they could replace their retiring members quite well with younger people. Perhaps if Indonesia granted West Papua independence through a proposed vote, we might see recruitment numbers for the Australian military rise again, too.
