Larry has obviously had his brain wiped out by drugs.

Says I never bought real estate.

Stupid, drug–buggered idiot! I told him I bought two blocks of land on Adelaide’s south coast, built two houses on them with my then business partner and bought a huge 400sqm bluestone villa in the nearby suburb. I bought this present house for likely $50K less than the vendor wanted.

How many drugs for how long do you need to take to wipe out short-medium term memory like that?

Not only that I started and ran two businesses, obviously including the home brew shop.

This was all spelled out for Larry but, brains fried by his drug use, he obviously has no remembrance of that.

I also told him that I processed hundreds of thousands of sales records so have a good idea of how real estate works

All that reminds me of when we go to see some of my cousins in the Sth Highlands. They built a huge mansion out there and live there permanently now. Anyway we often end up staying with them for a few days. They have this amazing log fire (it’s a contraption which suspends from the ceiling and is around 1 metre up from the polished concrete floor) and we gather round on comfy sofas to listen to music, chat about the old days when our migrant parents were our age and enjoy the warmth of a real fireplace. During all this we are always offered a lovely night time port. That port is the best way to warm you up IMO. Tasty, refreshing, relaxing and it heats your body temperature. After that port which is like some Sth Highlands routine ... you’re ready for bed.

I was growing a beard over these last 3 weeks, in preparation for the cold weather. But, it looks like the forecast for the next 2 weeks will be no minimums below 11°C in Rockhampton. Everywhere else might be getting below 10°C minimums (some down to below 5). But, looks like there is no winter in Rockhampton.

My beany, scarf and gloves can wait for next year.

The lowest temperature last night was 17°C at 3:30 in the morning. It topped out at nearly 29°C about an hour ago. Ceiling fan has gone on. I have my other fan blowing cool air from the hallway. Open windows all over the place.

Even Mawson Station, Antarctica is not getting below -17°C. And they don't see daylight until the 30th of June.

I man at body temperature 37 C 100 kg

The temperature of the whole mass of water and man tends toward 15.6 C as the water temperature rises and the man's temperature falls assuming full body immersion.

If you actually want to experience 5 C for 1 minute you need to increase the amount of water considerably.

When the rain comes over this week, our daytime temperatures will not get above 20°C. But, when the rain leaves, and we get those southerly winds, we will see temps overnight plummet below 5°C.

The volume of the average male is around 90 litres, so it's running close. Lard arses could be even more.

200 l of water plus 90 l Gordon is 290 l which is close to overflowing.

No belly flops or highboard dives, please.
