I am not promoting pointlessness.  I am debunking the bullshit you and your mates like Jones, Boris and Frank are trying to scare people with.

It is tokenism, a nod, a gesture, a hand shake well over due.

But, you go cower under the bed and tremble with fear of the big bad black boogieman, Effendi.  You seem most comfortable there.

Perhaps you should say what it is you are trying to debunk.

Can you explain the difference between a token change to our constitution and a pointless change?

Sure, on the one hand, it is respectfully responding to a request, and on the other, it is pointless to 'us' but not to the boongs because it provides them with a Constitutional recognition.

Giving me a free ticket to jump out of an aeroplane with a parachute is pointless but there is still yet the token gift/giving, and that is not pointless.

Are you incapable of giving a token, a gesture, a handshake to the race our "democracy" fuqqed up, Effendi?

That the frickin' thing. They were content to live a Stone Age existence. It would have taken an Ice Age for them to develop new technology to survive. And the last one Australia had ended before the first indigenous Australians arrived on the continent.

So what?  They felt no need so why do you reckon you have the right to impose your culture on them?

I am not imposing MY culture onto them. They are trying to impose THEIR culture on me. The only difference is that if every Australian started adopting indigenous Australian culture, you could imagine that a decade from now, our Asian neighbours might start thinking that the Stone Age Australians might need some modernisation and some liberation of the natural resources we still have at our disposal.

Rubbish.  They can impose ZERO......nada....nothing.......but they can have a say which the Government/Parliament/Executive are totally at liberty to ignore if they want to.

Simple as that.

Do you believe me?

"It's the thought that counts" is hardly a compelling argument for altering the constitution.

I disagree.  You are wrong, because you are a coward cowering under the bed as you have been spooked by idiots and scaremongering bullshit.

It was the thought of the apology and its delivery which counted, Effendi.

No Aussie. I oppose it because it is racist, pointless, dangerous, expensive and stupid.

Your response? "It's the thought that counts".

Have you noticed you are the only one here who says they will vote yes?

"Its the thought that counts." No its not. Its legal implications of giving parliament a free hand in anything. See paragraph 3.

I don't really know what you are talking about. But, if you are trying to say that indigenous people don't use their racial background to seek an easier treatment, you have to be joking. That was one of the reasons I say that indigenous people are imposing their culture on me.

If I paid taxes, I would be contributing to their easy lifestyle.

What would a Voice achieve that State and Federal Aboriginal ministers, councils, co-ops, quangos, ATSICs, etc couldn't?

And why keep them if the Voice gets up?  And will they pay back all the resources they have wasted over the decades before the Vouce, which will achieve (🤣🤣🤣) all they have been unable to???

The Voice is a total racket, exploiting and perpetuating Abiriginal dysfunction by the fat half-castes, quadroons and their white Uncle Tommos.

There are those, no matter what is said to them, will be cowards and nothing will change that.  Cower away.

I won't.

Democracy fd? You imposed your expectations on them long before they ever got a say in things

How old do you think I am John?

Ohh look, fd is trying to distract from his lack of a coherent and logical argument again.   Cheesy Cheesy

The you was plural dumbarse, as in all you bigots,  no on was talking about you specifically.

Are you suggesting we should stop expecting aborigines to not be racist, sexist douchebags, because people in the past had expectations of them?

No, I'm saying you're a bloody moron.

I'd accept 'no' if it was for a reason other than whitey does not want to give even a mere token, a nod, a gesture or a handshake to the boong.  It's as simple as that.

Naked selfish bigotry and more suppression for the sake of naked selfish bigotry and suppression.

No manners.  Nothing.

"I am not going to vote yes because *here insert your bigotry, your selfishness, your petty excuses.*"

Whereas I will vote yes because I was invited by the boong to give an acknowledgement, a nod, a token, a handshake, and I am not afraid of politely doing so.

If nothing else you can call it good manners.

She can vote no because it does not empower her as she wants.
