Builder? People who negative gear buy an existing dwelling! Why should they get a tax cut for that? Do they actually buy an existing swelling for the sake of the tax cut NG gives? Then the second tax cut when they sell the existing dwelling and pay a very reduced capital gains tax!

I don't have a share portfolio. And I ask again what is the problem with LIMITING NG to brand new house and land packages so you can still buy the old dumps but you just won't have a competitive advantage over owner occupiers who can't benefit from generous tax concessions. SO I ask again what is the problem with that ?
