yes - winter started on the 1st of May instead of the 1st of June -
and actually - technically speaking winter should start on
the shortest day which is tomorrow the 22nd June -
- the winter solstice.

It's never been so cold.
The way Monk talks every day you'd think we'd all be nice and warm

Just saw the State of Origin footy news from Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane -
people were wearing scarves and beanies.
It's going down to 8 degrees tonight in Brisbane.
