It will be warmer in the water than out in the middle of the day.

It went down to 8 deg here last night. Having a large mass of warmer water very close by means it doesn't get as cold in winter when you live on the beach.

When the wind is from the west it's the same
The water temp was up a tick today, very nice actually.

Bobby and Lisa are just trolling, it is all they do. This “tropical dog” crap has been going on and on since early last year. YAWN!

Yup, Socks is quite happy here, curled up on an old sleeping bag on a lounge chair and lounge is quite warm. I keep an electric oil filled radiator on medium all night.

I have gloves, like mittens only you can put a sort of cap over the top and then the fingers are fully covered—haven’t worn them yet.
