Australians have never enjoyed a right to Freedom of Speech. Throughout our history Government has intervened to legally censor media and people at will. The legal system has been designed to prevent besmirching irrelevant comments being made in public by individuals. I am unsure where the myth we have freedom of speech in Australia originated but it is a myth. Roll Eyes
