You don't understand.
Not declaring war and conscripting people against their will are
two actions we've seen from the past -
this time we have one of them - no declaration of war
yet somehow our Govt. has sent soldiers to Afghanistan -
maybe against their will? -
also there was never a vote in parliament either.
It seems we do whatever the Yanks tell us to do.

Read the OP and the Thread Title.  Nothing to do with bloody conscription.  F
uck
off with this deliberate diversion.

Have you no credible defence for Ben Roberts-Smith, the disgraced, discredited VC winner?

The United States has officially declared war 11 times during five separate military conflicts. According to the Constitution (Article I, Section 8), Congress has the exclusive power to declare war. The last time America declared war was during World War II. The Korean War, the War in Vietnam, and the extended campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq were never stamped with congressional declarations of war.

Go start a Thread on Conscription.

It doesn't need another thread.
It's valid here.
Australia never declared war on Afghanistan - neither did the Yanks -
yet Ben Roberts-Smith was there murdering people.
Go figure?

Aussies went into Afghanistan with the full backing on the UN, son. Roberts-Smith was wearing a blue beret. That means don't slaughter the local civilians, capiche?

Stop being so pedantic.

Address the wrongs in Australia's actions.
Ben shouldn't have been there in the first place.

His being there had NOTHING to do with conscription.

This Thread is about the civil action he bought and lost decidedly.

Go start some other Thread about matters no-one gives a stuff about Bobby.  Don't piggy back on this one.

So....the prick has resigned from his Ch 7 job.

Dunno what to make of that.  Maybe Stokes has dumped him.  Maybe Stokes needs to have him out of Ch 7 so he can at least claim that piss weak action......but................

The real test of the resolve/support of Stokes is whether he will stump up for the on going costs of an appeal.

Stokes has carried the financial burden to date......will he spend some more on this arsehole?

I understood every word of it.  The only words you need to know Bobby are those where the Judge dismissed EVERY claim made by Smith and upheld the truth allegations raised by the defendants that BRS is a cold blooded murderer etc.

The Judge did not find that Smith had been committed domestic violence but...given he had found that Smith was a murderer, that someone called him a domestic violence offender could not possibly impact on his 'reputation.'  (Contextual truth defence.)

he didn't use words - he used numbers.
e.g.  incident number 7 is upheld.
What the hell was incident 7?

Every?
No - some claim numbers were accepted as true and some dismissed.

At the very outset of his judgement, he carefully described every "incident number."

When you see the written judgement, it will be easier to understand.

OK.
Well I hope that Ben goes on trial for war crimes.
The wheels of justice move slowly.

The ADF/Feds will wait until he has exhausted all appeals avenues, and then....he will get the book thrown at him.

This is massive.

Nothing publicly known even comes near it in Australian Military (disgraceful) history.

You truly are a khunt ..... I hope the ADF get sfa recruits in the future because the chances the hierarchy, the Govt & the courts will throw you under a bus if the situation suits them.

Trained to kill, trained to do the job .... thrown under a bus because hierarchical incompetence.

Why would anyone sign up for that shyte.

All these grubs making these decisions(because of who has the most money) should be the first khunts sent to the frontline in any conflict our troops are signed up to.

You could also do with time at the front Aussie.

He was trained to kill, the same as I was, and thousands of other young guys

The government spent mega millions of tax payer dollars, training us how to bump people off

Platoon commanders kept an eye on us, they wrote reports about us, who's suitable for the killing fields, and who wasn't

BRS alone is not responsible, his commanding officer and top brass of SAS are to blame just as much, they need to be demoted
