The majority (it's around 89%) of asylum seekers who come by boat - once processed and vetted - are deemed to be refugees.

This isn't my opinion - it's an undeniable fact.

The tens of thousands of illegal immigrants who are currently in Australia arrived by plane.

They came on tourist, student, and working visas but didn't go home once their visas expired.
