Oh and do you know what my wife's nurse unit manager said when she said she had covid ?still come to work. We are short staffed, wear a mask if you want but it's not mandatory
Haven't those in authority changed their tune.
Still they are the ones who are scientifically advised by the chief health officer
Indeed they have.
They've gone from "we're not safe until we're all safe" to "You do you" while they pretend that Covid has gone away or it is no worse than a cold now.
They knew exactly what they were doing and the majority of our stupid population fell for it hook, line and sinker.
Still puzzles me why a class action lawsuit hasn't been filed yet by at least the relatives of the 7,000 or 8,000 elderly people who died from Covid in Aged Care over the past 4 or 5 years and also the relatives of the many people who caught Covid in hospitals and died.
Obviously the 'BS machine' was/still is running at full throttle with no one taking responsibility for anything (which is a very common 'theme' these days) and the relatives being told that "nothing could have been done to prevent it".
I have an elderly gentleman living near me who caught Covid in hospital (RPH - again) earlier this year and he's been in and out of hospital ever since. He's not home at the moment, hasn't been there for a week an a half this time so he must be in hospital again. Wouldn't surprise me if he's caught Covid or the flu again.
And all because staff refuse to do something as simple as wear a mask "it's not mandated so we don't have to do it".
Disgraceful stuff. As always.
