Come on, folks - roll up, roll up.

As promised - I had this done yesterday at my local TerryWhite in Kooyong Road.

Going to be another horror flu season so we've been told plus we'll also be having the Covid "Cicada" BA.3.2 highly mutated variant running wild so be prepared.

I had the flu and Covid vaccines in the same (left) arm this year. Apparently it is perfectly safe and there's even indications that having the Covid vaccine in the same arm as the flu vaccine (spaced apart a bit on the arm, of course) can make the flu vaccine more effective than just having the flu vaccine alone.

Only thing I have today is a bit of a sore left arm and a slight headache but I'm sure it is a lot better than being unvaccinated. Especially seeing as vaccination rates are at a 5 year low right now (thanks for nothing, idiot antivaxxers).

Hey Greg.

Yep, the Post Office is still there.

I had to wait around for a while after my vaccinations (just in case I had any adverse reaction) and while I was waiting I went down the back to the Post Office and paid my gas bill.

Yeah, I've noticed that about the BF post office - always lots of people.

Last year I was living in Bayswater for a while and I used to use the PO there.

Tiny little shop, with just one guy running it.

I renewed my passport there and it took just two days for it to arrive

The IGA next door is pretty good too.

Most IGAs are quite expensive, but their prices are reasonable.

Nice people too.

I quite like it in Bayswater and Bassendean now, so I'll be spending more time there this year.

But yeah, screw you - anti-vaxxers Angry

I was starting to get a bit worried seeing as you hadn't posted for nearly 3 months (not really, I'm just saying that to try and be nice).

I thought you may have succumbed to a virus or something due to your aversion to getting yourself vaccinated.

Here's a free tip - I wouldn't plan on going out too much during winter if I were you. And, if you really, really have to I suggest you wear a mask (not a baggy blue surgical although it would be better than nothing).
