Again - for those at the back of the class:

Nipah virus currently has a 40 to 70 percent fatality rate.
No vaccine. No cure so far.

"Superflu" running rampant in the US and probably other parts of the world and definitely about to take off here in Australia thanks to the airlines, as usual (3,000 US flu deaths estimated in January alone).

If our useless governments thought we had a really bad "flu" season in Australia last year then this one is shaping up to be an absolute disaster. And, on top of everything else we still have Covid to deal with.

I'm sure our overworked and underpaid hospital workers are already cringing when they think about what's coming this year.

Disgraceful stuff.

Oh, and...

Lockdowns are now unacceptable to the Australian public.
As is reducing tourism and novel vaccines.

Yes.

And that was by design. And the Australian population swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

Because, once the "powers that be" realised that SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) wasn't going to 'fizzle out' after a year or two like the original SARS did over 20 years ago then "they" decided it was way past time for everything to return to 'normal' (governments and big business going back to making lots of money) and for people to get repeatedly sick and many people (28,000 and counting) to die for their precious economy.

Which was totally inexcusable to any decent person but what made it even worse was the fact that they were (and still are) too cowardly to admit that's what they had decided to do.

What they decided to do was to no longer pander to hypochondriacs
