Not so, he won't be declared 'King of Australia'. That's a diluted non-legal PR spin republic-monarchy bull-dust.
Charles the Third, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of His other Realms and Territories, King, Head of the Commonwealth.

Yeah, my aunt turned the TV on at 2:30pm Perth time, just over 2 hours ago.

10 Peach (Free to air Channel 11).

After watching half an hour of 'talking heads' and ads she turned it off again.

Might just watch the 'highlights' later (or any time over the next week or two as I'm sure it will be repeated "ad" nauseum).

No way we're going to waste our elderly eyesight watching
this sort of visual drivel on the gogglebox.  And I certainly
feel for the UK taxpayers...  AU$189 million?     Seriously?

The wealth of the royal family, which is also known as “The Firm,”
is estimated at US$28 billion, according to Forbes.

This is separate from the late Queen Elizabeth's personal fortune
and assets, valued jointly at US$500 million.

Additionally, The Crown Estate, which manages the monarchy’s
property holdings, is valued at about US$20.5 billion.

—That the Crown failed to finance this absurd extravaganza is
an absolute disgrace, and an insult to all British taxpayers.

In an 18 April YouGov poll, only 32% of respondents agreed that
the taxpayers should fund the coronation ceremony.

Trying to work out who gets paid the millions? Cops, troops, clergy, crown wardens, palace boot-polishers are all on the books anyway. The big gin-party at Buck House can't be that much?

The coverage is good on Stan.

Or failing that, there's the ABC.

Yep.

I'm all for a republic - always have been.

I'm a volunteer on Peter FitzSimons' team.

I had a lot of respect for Lizzie and, although Chuck is a bit of a dick, I respect him too.

I don't want him as my King though.

But anyway, this is history in the making and I'm watching it.

I can't criticise them if I don't know everything they do.

And hey, Nick Cave is there!

The crown is $84mill but Charles only borrows it for a minute, curses and hands it back. He may go 50/50 on repairs if he drops it and cracks a diamond or something.
