How is closing down a hiking trail shutting down the Government....The legislation and laws used to grant Native Title and Land Rights already exists....That is why the trail was able to be shut down before the Voice is enacted???

I think it's a bit extreme to claim that the "Voice" could shut down our
government. I'd go as far to say though that it'll turn out to be divisive,
as there's obvious evidence—already!—that even the vote itself is
turning one Aussie against another.

It'll simply reinforce the "them and us" attitude already instilled into a
black and a white Australia.

Since 1967, every adult Aborigine has enjoyed exactly the same voting
rights as I have, the same access to parliament, and the same

Also, There are 26 MPs in Australian parliaments who identify as an
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, which is 3.1% of all federal,

Now this is what I mean about 'mission creep' - first they appoint - without your leave - a bunch of local or outlander Aborigines as 'custodians' of your national park - first they merely tend the gardens and such and check on the toilet paper in the loos - then they start to compile a list of 'problems' that need fixing but never are - then they says it's too dangerous to climb though nobody else says so - then they add in the spirits and off you go.

Always a mistake - sack them all now and get back to reality.... or hang your politicians in the town square.

This is what happened with that fancy Waitangi Tribunal thing.. and Ayers rock... and Mt warning... and that other rock etc - that's what will happen with any 'voice' here... steady erosion of all other rights than Indigenous... until someone gets fed up with it and off we go .... and of course we know who will be blamed when the inevitable flareup comes along.
