That's a serious offence, Brian.
Quote:While demonstrators filled galleries, the three Democrats approached the front of the house chamber with a bullhorn and participated in a chant.
Furthermore, they were protesting against the sale of weapons, an industry that donates handsomely to many of the members of the chamber.
Quote:He said the three "broke a house rule because we're fighting for kids who are dying from gun violence and people in our communities who want to see an end to the proliferation of weaponry in our communities".
That's mutiny.
Quote:Republican Gino Bulso said the three Democrat representatives "effectively conducted a mutiny".
"The gentleman shows no remorse," Mr Bulso said, referring to Mr Jones.
How would you feel if protesters turned up to your workplace and kicked up a racket?
That's a sitting legislative chamber. Imagine if the protesters had broken past police, entered during proceedings and threatened the lives of lawmakers.
That's worse than mutiny, dear, that's
insurrection.I'm sorry, Brian, the GOP is the party of law and order. They would never condone such an attack.
If anyone orchestrated something like that, not only should they lose their office, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, no?
