A Doctor of Theology indeed. Who said Climate Change/AGW was not a religion?

It's a cult. A "Doctor of Theology" to a schoolgirl who became famous for NOT going to school. A Virgin Warrior, a la Jeanne d'Arc, uniting the faithful against the forces ravaging the country and laying seiges to windmills everywhere. But she has thd dar if the Gods through virtue and purity. Grin

It is a farcical devaluation like the Nobel Peace Prize given to O'Bama for.... er.... having Kenyan father who abandoned him and his mother and whose very nomination as the Dem candidate was, in his own modest self-estimation, "the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal ..."

Greta - an autistic girl, a rabid Atheist who skipped school AND NEVER studied anything at Uni AND never paid a Uni fee - should NOT be entitled to a BACHELOR degree in Theology let alone a DOCTORATE!

It makes a complete mockery of the higher education system and should raise red flags and alarm bells for those of us who have kids and who have suffered/struggled to put them through their degree/s.

The time, the effort, the dedication AND the hundreds of thousands of dollars we’ve paid to get 1 child through Uni in a discipline which reflects their ability, affinity and personality ... is a JOURNEY which Greta AND her parents haven’t experienced. They arrived at a destination without taking the journey.

And that’s not right. It’s not right for her OR for any other child really.

At age 16, high school dropout Thunberg was simply being used by her
parents as a public voice for their own climate advocacy... who could resist
a sweet, keen young female child sprouting climate change crapola,
complete with angry self-interest and conveniently timed crocodile tears?

And now this media darling is telling other 16-year-olds to give school a
miss, and instead turn up at street protests. Uh... shouldn't she be telling
other kids to spend more time at school studying the effects of climate
change, and ways to reverse it?
