Donald The Alleged Child Rapist's lawyers have requested that he be tried as a juvenile.

Makes sense.

Not yet.

They're deciding who should go first.

Hopefully it's keeping him up at night   Smiley

it appears trump recorded the payment as legal expenses .

so this george soros funded DA is going after him for "poor record keeping" . a misdemeanour,

It's still  a crime, and he committed it eleven times.

It wasn't something he did just once, and could therefore possibly be dismissed as a clerical error.

It was done intentionally, eleven times.

He falsified business records eleven times.

That's repeated, intentional, criminal behaviour.

Greggy,
when you hang a man you better look at him:

The last thing in the world I wanna see is Trump executed (or anyone, for that matter - I oppose capital punishment in all circumstances).

God no.

I wanna see him spend the rest of his life in prison ... suffering.

And I hope he lives to be 150 years old.

Hi Greggy,
so you'd like to torture an old man for the next 70 years?

No.

I don't wanna do anything, except watch Donald The Alleged Child Rapist rot away in a prison cell for the rest of his life.

as real america wakes up to a local crimewave about which the DA does nothing.

What is causing this crime wave, in the richest nation on the planet?

Note: crime isn't comfortable, it requires risk-taking.

Dear Leader's crime was an attempt to minimise risk, Great.

He ran the Stormy issue past Mike - cash?

No, Mike said, you can't do this with a brown paper bag and a cease-and-desist letter. We'll need to work something out.

Hence the loan withdrawal and the paper-trail back to Mike.

In this case, the crime was moat comfortable. Best of all, it had that element Dear Leader's Art of the Deal ghostwriter Tony Schwartz said underlay Dear Leader's most favourite deals: they all had a whiff of corruption; stiffing some chump out of something he prized.

A win-win operator Mr Trump aint. His strategy is always win-lose. It's how the big fella handles  his business, it's how he looks at foreign affairs. The big fella doesn't aim to win, he aims to make the other guy lose - the bigger the better.

In his New York electoral fraud case, the chump was Mike Cohen. In his pending federal insurrection case, the chump was Mike Pence. The big fella always has a Mike, a loyal insubordinate who'll sell their soul to do Dear Leader's bidding, but always gets shivved in the end.

I think paying off someone to remain silent about an affair is between them and should not be any business of the DOJ....Claiming the payment is a campaign violation is drawing a long bow....Trump more than likely paid off Stormy to keep it from Melania and his adult children....Who would trust Stormy Daniels not to take advantage of a payday, In fact that is exactly what she did.....I hope Stormy paid the money back....Trump is an immoral arsehole but he is not guilty of a crime!!!

Mike got a concurrent three year sentence for that long bow, Phil. What makes more sense to you?

Mike was doing it out of the goodness of his heart? Or he was carrying out the boss' orders?

Mike has the whole deal on tape so it's a moot point.

The tape's not admissible as evidence because he didn't tell the boss he was taping, but we know.

Stormy's book may not be admissible either, but she knows.

Don't believe the hype. A grand jury heard the evidence and will vote to indict. That's the process. That's justice.

Mike testified before that jury, and he said the motive was all about the erection.

So, who to believe? Tucker Carlson?

Or the boss' own lawyer?

Oh, he's guilty of a crime alright.  That's absolutely indisputable.

Paying her off isn't the crime - there's absolutely nothing illegal about that.  Highly immoral, but in no way illegal.

However, when he made eleven payments to his lawyer to pay back the $130,000 and claimed them as legitimate legal expenses he broke the law.  Pure and simple.

And, the payment itself violated state campaign finance law since it was effectively an illegal secret donation to boost his campaign.

Moreover, his lawyer went to prison for it.  If it's not a crime, why did his lawyer go to jail?

There's no doubt whatsoever that Trump broke the law - it's already been proven in his lawyer's court case.

The only question now is: will he be charged for his crimes?

To prove Trump violated campaign finance laws the prosecution must prove that he did it to bolster his election campaign and keep it from the public....But was it the public or his family he was concerned about....Trump's lawyers will argue he paid off Stormy to hide the truth from his family because he knew Stormy would go for gold whilst Trump was in the limelight....Too murky to be prosecuted IMO???
