The Perth Mint and that Four Corners Piece

Well, the ABC stooped to a new low in its poker stakes with other media - it saw the latter's low standards and doubled down.

It decided to go with chicken-little 'investigative' journalism and insinuate that the Perth Mint was selling slugs to nana's and grandpa's gold holdings.

It did not interview any bullion dealer about the actual quality of the Perth Mint's products and instead chose to go with sensation-fueled oblique allegations of corruption and underworld crime, eating into nana's gold investments.

How much lower is that than the ABC claims is its minimum standards?

Interesting that YouTube has labelled this as 'inappropriate or offensive'.

So the ABC forced WA's state premier to explain gold purity standards to the media - something any bullion dealer could have advised, people the ABC didn't bother to interview except to explain what 9999 meant when stamped on a gold bar or gold coin.

Pathetic work, ABC.
