I just listened to an in depth take on that. They says sure it's not good, but it's a part of the car that would miss out on the galvanising treatment anyway. But they also stated that in China, only export models are galvanised so perhaps they don't take the process seriously, or they skimped on how much gal/m2 is needed.

With the cost of energy going sky high, except China, many cars may be priced out of the market.

More bad news for BYD owners ... that guy on Twitter has cracked a wheel rim on his new Atto 3 and has found out that there is an 8 week delay on spare parts. Another person said that that goes for windscreens too .... 8 weeks to get a replacement.  Shocked
