I think if you are running your own company or are in a leadership position in a company and aspire to be on the board, it is worthwhile.

i have not done it, I am not in Australia but if I was in either of the positions I mentioned above, I would consider doing.

It may present networking opportunities if you think about moving jobs. Having this without a reason relevant to your role or asperations, it probably will not help you.

To be honest I’m surprised you haven’t done this course. It would be right up your alley.

I wonder if Freediver or Frank has done so.

I’m thinking that if I can do a course by AICD (on an online basis) then it will help revitalise my CV and perhaps open my horizons. The subjects appear easy and the assessments don’t look difficult either.

i looked them up.
they certainly know how to use all the jargon on their website.

i have 2 companies (well i pay ASIC twice for the ability to call them both Pty Ltd ) but they are sole trader companies .

if you want to succeed in business, there are lots of great resources available for free on youtube.

i would check out some of the radical thinkers like gary vanderchuck (gary v)
a guy who cops a lot of crap but is switched on would be Tai Lopez
kevin rose
Ted
and cjlive and cjraw with chae jervis
