Abstract
Available data indicate that Indigenous people are 15 to 20 times more likely than non-Indigenous people to commit violent offences. This report presents results of research into victimisation of, and offending by, Indigenous people. The findings are designed to inform and complement the work of the National Indigenous Violence and Child Abuse Intelligence Task Force. This report draws attention to the need to investigate the specifics of different forms of violent offending, the relationship between victims and offenders and the location and nature of different community settings.

It's mostly because Western Medicine is a subordinated industry which is mostly a 'feminine' industry.

I remember Cops and Security used to get peeved with me, because when it came to violent Psyche patients - I seemed to be able to do a better job handling them, than them.
You see - in the 'West', like Australia is (via politics), male nurses are supposed to be all 'Gay'.
Can't have male nurses who know how to handle themselves, have an alpha sense of masculinity making them look bad in front of the female nurses now.
Might put the Security out of a job if all the male Nurses started to be 'tougher' than them, etc.

But of course, such male nurses are rare mainly because the industry can't cope with 'Alpha Males' who can void violence, etc.

Throw in the fact that the Medical Industry doesn't want to fix its own system and call for a major recruitment in males, especially 'Alpha Males' with balls. Instead, despite how 'heavy' and 'violent' the Medical Industry can be - they still aim for Female Staff more or Gay Males.

Also the fact that by using Universities to train Nurses - they come out of Uni thinking they will be doing mostly 'white collar' work and 50% usually quit in the first year as the 'physical' workload is just too much for them.
There is a very large part of Nursing that requires 'Cleverness', physical efficiency and practicality - the things 'smart' people from Uni have lacking.

I was lucky to work with some Old School 'battle-axe' Nurses from when Training was done 'in-house', not at Unis and they were superb to work for.

You can tell when the South African and New Zealand guys came in to work - again, they do it the Alpha Male style and don't take crap from abusive patients. But they too seem to 'rock the boat' of how the Australian Medical Industry is.

This is one of the major reasons why many abusive patients take liberty with the too passive and subordinated Feminised Australian Medical Industry.
But hey, you get what you pay for here.

Well it used to be a great place before all the Tourism Rip Off Rock enterprises started exploiting the place where the cost of living suddenly went up. Boutique cafe-latte lefty snobs all trying to cash in on the gravy of Tourism and Australian Tourism is not cheap at all.
Little wonder there became a ever widening gap of rich and poor.
Take the money and run it seems.

Maybe impose sanctions too eh Grapps?

Wall 'em out of town, no entry without a pass - temporary day passes only available on application, sunset curfew and exile to 'camps', two beers per man per day per'aps (VB or fosters - Jesus... or West End... now Bah Me Ba - literally F88k My Mother beer.... brrr... they sell it in 30 packs here now.... for the very brave of the Kiwis).... power off in the villes after sunset curfew....  KPIs on education and violence and sexual abuse before receiving dole card ....
