Anyway - another Musso problem  ...... over in Israel the government is expediting gun licences so citizens can self-defend... that's what they need in Alice Springs... forget the Aboriginal art....  Albo's gonna solve all by throwing $286M at art... that'll help....

Diversity is where nations go to die.

Well, Indic peoples have existed for thousands of years, so...

And on that point, Indic peoples' existence on the subcontinent is so ancient, Australian aboriginals share some of their DNA.

Indians are Caucasian, just like Middle-Easterners are and some North Eastern Africans. Aborigines belong to the Haplogroup shared with Ainu, Tibetans and Adamaman Islanders - where one island is Protected by India as a no-go zone where the people of that island live in isolation as they kill outsiders - like one Christian found out when he tried to convert them.

The last wave of Aboriginal migration to Australia occurred about 4000 years ago and they originated from the Indian subcontinent. They share about 10% of their DNA.

Oh so the Aborigines themselves are also migrants.

Could someone tell them? Please?

They came in waves Lisa. Don't let that throw you.
The first wave (Tasmanians) had Denisovian in them and came here a very long time ago - probably before Indians decided to set up shop and stay in India. Most of Asia was populated by the Haplogroup that the Tasmanians, Ainu, etc  belonged to before the emergence of the younger Haplogroups.
The Murrayans were the second major wave of immigration into Australia - pushing the Tasmanians southward.
The final and most recent wave 40,000 years ago were the Carpentarians who pushed the Murrayans down Victoria way. The Carpentarians most likely have the Indian connection along with the original Haplogroup.
I'm sure Mr Eccy might be right with immigration still filtering in just 4,000 years ago. Afterall, the Didgeridoo is only 6,000 years old and the Dingo is a recent immigrant too.

Tell that to Lydia and the Cheer Mob on Q & A and they'll say you're NOT a native, but an invader - regardless of generations (of colonisation).

I think inhabiting a region for thousands of years counts as indigenous.

If that were not the case then most Europeans, including Greeks and Italians, could not claim to be natives of their respective regions.

Could all of present day Turkey be returned to the Pontian Greeks please? I mentioned my Greek heritage yes? My Greek ancestors are from Trebizond. In fact my grandmother (mother's mother) was born and bred there. Look it up. Then get back to me 🥺

Oh I have no doubt Anatolia will return to be Greece once again. The 'moslem' factor in Anatolia won't last for very long. The Greeks are already psyching themselves up for war with Turkey when World War starts. They might lose their part of Cypress though.
I know the Balkans will give the Moslems some more stick too.
Who knows? I wonder if Constantinople or Byzantium will rise again?

Such an exemplary group - so it seemed when they first started arriving......

now they want exemptions for this & that like kids wearing ceremonial knives to school etc. etc.

Then there's a local temple brawl in Brisbane & the ceremonial swords are used against each other....

now this inter group rivalry in Melbadishu

Ultimatums need to be made .... the rivalries  from India need to be left at the airport(India) or you can go the bugger back.

It has no place here.

When the govt of the day decided to bring the rival groups from Yugoslavia - Serbs, Croats & Bosnians .... we had the same problems for decades.

When they decided to allow Muslim Lebanese in as migrants(Christian Lebanese had been here a long time) more trouble ensued.

Behave or bugger off the lot of ya.

And when the Scottish want Independence from the English - they too turn out in their primitive kilted attire and other 'old' cultural aspects for identity.

What do Whiteys do for identity here but wave flags with thongs and clothes with the flag on them. Pretty lame.
Stole Pavlova from the Kiwis, stole the Slough Hat design from the French.

There is only British, American and other Multi-Cultural aspects from overseas to identify with beyond the Aborigine presence. There is no true 'independent' Australian identity beyond chest beating hot air and yelling "Oi". Even the words "Fair Dinkum" is a Chinese saying here.

Until this nation pays the price to 'all' - Aborigines, British, America, etc - and truly stands 'independent', you all just have to admit that you are anything but Australian by default only.
