Seems like this God dude (I assume it's a dude) is a bit of a hypocrite, just like his followers.

Would any Christians like to step in and defend him?

How can he be pro-life if he killed (drowned) every single baby and pregnant woman on Earth?

God is a woman - read my short story on the subject....

Well then, if God is a woman and she's pro-life, why did she kill every baby and every pregnant woman on the planet?

Not Noah and the family though...

No.

But as far as I know Noah's wife wasn't pregnant and none of their kids were babies.

Even if they were though: if God is a woman and she's pro-life, why did she kill every baby and every pregnant woman on the planet (except for the Noah family)?

Because they all became like you, Bbwian, mothra, pb etc. There was no other way for the renewal of life.
Kinda obvious. God knows best, no?

So God isn't pro-life then.

Why do you Christians lie about that?

He is.

No, it isn't.

It killed every single baby and pregnant mother on the planet.

There's no amount of twisting and turning that can turn that into pro-life.

No amount of excuses - it's still anti-life.

God killed every baby on the planet, along with every single pregnant woman.

Christians are kidding themselves if they think their worthless God is pro-life.

He ain't!

You are turdifying god in your own image, demanding that god be like you and deserve your approval Otherwise his an alleged far right MAGA Republican Trump loving redneck etc, etc.

That's where you are going with this, that's where you are going with everything - Project Turdify.

No.  Nothing to do with me.

I'm questioning how Christians protesting abortion can say their God is pro-life when they believe in a story that says he deliberately killed every single baby and pregnant woman on the planet.

They seem to pick and choose a lot.

Questioning why God drowned everybody is "demanding God be like you" and demanding of approval?

Frank, do you just like, get really upset before you type or something?

Do you REALLY take every parable literally, like turdy? Do you really believe every religious creation STORY, every flood STORY? Are you really so stupid as to take every imaginative tale literally -  Including the Aboriginal Bundaba Flood Story?  Almost every culture has flood stories where most living things drown but then life returns.
Do you take them ALL literally, frightbat, or just Noah's story, to score triumphant idiocy points together with turdy?

No. I'm not invested in any of it.

I certainly don;t use my selective interpretations of any of it to look down upon my fellow humans. I mean, it's just all so contradictory.

I do know that the teachings of Jesus were, for the most part, pretty ace. Damn shame most Christians don't follow any of them.

One of the interesting things about the right to life movement against Roe V Wade is that it started more than 5 years after the Roe V Wade decision and then it was a case of the Religious right following the political direction. It was never a genuine moral religious position.

The right to life movement was originally primarily a for political advantage creation that was picked up very late by the religious right.

Many of the biggest proponents of the right to life movement had originally supported Roe V Wade.

Of course God is Pro Life! God created life. Life is all around us! It's in plants and animals and in human beings.

We ie humans have responded by systematically:

1. destroying ourselves and each other

2. destroying our natural environment by polluting the land, sea and air

3. abusing and destroying the vulnerable ie children and animals

In effect we have demonstrated that we are Anti Life.

I wasn't going to get into this but the topic has progressed so here it is :

In the Holy Bible God says quite clearly that His Spirit will not always strive with humanity.

Humanity has seen fit to continue to deny God, deny His existence even, deny His Word, deny His counsel.

And God Himself says that humanity will become as evil as it was back in the days of Noah before God visits this planet AGAIN. In judgement. God even talks about NATURE GROANING in agony. Yes our environment will be THAT abused by humanity that it will not be able to sustain healthy LIFE.

God allowed humanity to be destroyed back then ... with water. Next time God will do the same .... but with fire.

Atheists, agnostics and even God haters seem to think that God is some entity who functions according to their feeble finite minded ideas and rules regarding justice. God isn't their puppet. Nor is He their dog who exists to learn how to obey them.

Make no mistake ... if you continue to reject God, reject God's existence, reject God's holiness, reject God's laws regarding justice, reject God's offer of salvation and eternal life, reject God's Word....you are doomed to die and never see God's face or God's Heaven.

Your life here on Earth is tenuous. Even if you were lucky to live a long life here on Earth you'd be looking at a period of less than 100 yrs. And during those years your eyes will witness gross violence and abuse targeted at the health of people, our water supplies, our air, our environment, plants and those vulnerable such as children and animals....your eyes will see and your heart will be vexed by the agony suffered around you. Humanity's history blatantly records the relentless disrespect and disregard of all that God intended for us here on this planet. Planet Earth. It started with our first ancestors and continues to this day. Why? God created us with FREE WILL. Our choices reflect our free will. Our choices determine our future both here and afterwards.

Is God Pro Life? He's more than that...He's Pro Eternal Life!

Why do you think God sent His only Son Jesus here to this revolting hell hole? It was so that we who were once estranged could now return to God by choosing to accept God's invitation to save us. Save us from what? Our sins, mistakes, ourselves. Our ways are not His ways (the Holy Bible says this). Our ways consist of minefields riddled with mistakes and misery.

God's way is the way to life. Eternal Life. Everlasting Life. Not what WE think is life ... here on earth.

I'm not on OzPol to convince/convert anyone. I'm in this topic only because I'm answering a post directed at me.

I've got enough trouble trying to convince my own husband who is an avid agnostic. It's frustrating me no end. I refuse to accept the possibility of getting into Heaven and not finding him there. He means a lot to me. However .... and this isn't easy for me to post this: even if my own husband or child flatly refuse God's existence and God's invitation to come clean and repent of all past mistakes/sins....I can't do much more about it. Why? They have the FREE WILL to make their own choices.

Final thoughts : God says quite clearly that His Heavenly Kingdom will suffer VIOLENCE and THE VIOLENT will take it by force. But many will be left outside. Why? Their faith and belief was not violent/strong enough to push through. They dithered instead.

Which brings me back to Noah. At the last minute...people panicked and trampled over each other trying to get into the safety of the Ark. Unfortunately it was too late. God closed the door of that Ark firmly shut. Those who believed and maintained the faith ... got in and stayed safe. Everyone else chose ie exercised their FREE WILL to mock, to deny, to verbally abuse, ridicule and live their life according to how they saw fit ie totally rejecting God's laws and God's terms of justice.

The Ark represented the safety of God's Kingdom.

NOW is the time for you to decide if you want to be inside that kingdom or not. It's your decision. You have free will.

And you can forget about the idea of a death bed repentance and belief scenario too.

Those who think they can believe in the 11th hr die at 10.30.

Cheers

Happy Australia Day ( 31 degrees 🥺 )
