I was a first responder arriving with an ambulance and a nurse to take people to hospital and they would start up again sometimes in the back of the ambulance and I often had to fight to protect my nurse - they violently attack women all the time

The Snowtown murders occurred over 30 years ago and were hardly representational of anything, other than the criminality of the perpetrators who wanted to get more money out of Social Security for their victims. They were particularly nasty in their application. My brother served on the jury for one of the perpetrators, he still has nightmares because of it. Particularly gruesome. When I was in the Army I used to drive past the bank on the way to El Alamein Army Camp at Port Agusta, when it was a bank, before it closed. Roll Eyes

Here are some good comebacks that you can use the next time someone calls you a liar:

I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish by calling me a liar.
I understand that you’re upset, but please don’t call me names
It sounds like you’re the one who’s feeling dishonest, not me.
I’ll be happy to discuss this with you later, but right now I think we both need to calm down.
I’m sorry if you feel that way.
Just because I don’t agree with you, doesn’t mean I’m lying.
Maybe you’re the liar.
Are you calling me a liar, or are you just saying that you don’t believe me?
Why do you always assume that I’m lying?
We must have different definitions of the word ‘lie’
Do you always accuse people of lying when they disagree with you?
That sounds more like an opinion than a fact.
If I am lying, why would I bother denying it?
It’s not my fault you can’t believe the facts.
You’re just upset because the truth hurts.
I may be a lot of things, but a liar is not one of them.
Being called a liar is never a pleasant experience.
