TBH - I read that 'sovereign people' line yesterday... still waiting to hear what they actually meant... even if they seceded from Australia that in no way justifies warring on those cops.. you secede and then hopefully peacefully co-exist - not start shooting at the first sign of authority.

Did they mean as in never having conceded their sovereignty despite a lifetime of being advantaged by the 'opposition' way of life? Was this some 'race war' thing?

Sounds like every well-being check will need to be done as a platoon sized op with machine gun and sniper teams ready to go (BTW - in Carentan in BoB, the machine guns should have been ready the moment the troops went to run to those houses - not after - I thought Winters was a tactical genius - somebody fiddled the continuity of the filming therefor dramatic effect, just like WWS with Mel) and all done via a loud hailer....

I'm not sure.

I drift from atheist to agnostic on any given day.

I'm spiritual though. Much more so since I held my father's hand as he left his body earlier this year.

That had a profound effect on me.
