Actually all your links are pretty damn good Bobby. I've been noticing that for some time too. Good work ✅

Meantime ... unnecessary carnage has taken place in QLD. Just before Christmas too. What a dreadful Christmas (and New Year) for all those affected families and communities. 🥺

Thanks Lisa,
we still don't know if the cops did their proper homework
before going around to that house?
Did they know that the owners had firearms?

Do criminals with illegal guns register their firearms in a registry run by police?

When Canada abolished firearm registration they said it gave the police a false sense of security as police would do raids not expecting any guns because none were registered there while failing to realise criminals don't register their firearms which catches them by surprise.

One of the brothers was a retired school principal from Dubbo?

"Indigenous" ancestry? Doesn't look it.

Thought the Port Arthur Massacre was a government hoax?

Was building a kind of "ark" style property to be a "survivalist"?

One weird family.  Cheesy

Good riddance to them.

Very sad for those two young Police officers and the other victim of the murderous attack.  Sad

He wasn't retired - he was a former school principle at Yorkeys Knob near Cairns & also at Walgett.

Walgett has a large Aboriginal community.

Not looking as if he has Aboriginal ancestry means nothing today.

He quit the education department a year or so ago?

Quit/retired? Or did he just walk out and went off grid… to be deemed as a reported missing person with others being concerned for his mental welfare?

There's 8 panels there Frank ... extensive?

I've got 72 panels on my house & I'm not off the grid.

Cheesy Cheesy

Yeah I have 20 panels and on water tank… and I’m not off grid either  Grin

It may not have been the missing person they were going there to locate that had firearms … his brother may have had legal firearms. But the police may not have known who was in that house … just a report of a missing man that used to be a prin.

The alleged missing person is the ex school principal, who was wearing camo gear and was firing away at the coppers.

That’s correct. But…. Keep up with me darls …The cops didn’t know he would be in camo gear with guns waiting for them as sitting ducks in an ambush.
It’s know after the event.
We are talking about whether the cops knew he had guns… I would say the ex prin may not have been the one with guns. Because no one knew who was really living as off grid hermits in that house.

That old house was owned by the former principal's brother and brother's wife. That much was known.

There would not be one home like that one in rural Queensland where there is not a gun.

Forget the off grid crap.  That is rubbish.

Okay so it’s the brother and his wife that own the place.
I wonder if whomever had the firearms… if it was registered or not?
If registered… the police would know… there are heaps of people I know with registered firearms and gun licence.  It means there is a certain amount of responsibility expected from gun owners.
If the police knew there were firearms… there was no reason to suspect any event as they were there to locate a “missing person”.

I'm also wondering if they were wearing bullet proof vests (I don't know their protocols).

Correct.  It was an ambush by all three...deliberately planned by all three and participated in by all three, LOLS.

Given the remote location and terrain I would have expected that wearing one would now be workplace safety best practice.

Gawd...it is NOT remote and the terrain was flat as a pan cake!

They were looking for a missing person, an innocuous thing, but.....but.....but....there is a question as to why, given such an apparently innocuous thing...why FOUR coppers (likely TWO cop cars) needed to go there for such a banal routine thing.  They may have expected some growls, no cups of tea and scones, but obviously not of the kind they were met with.

Bobby earlier provided THE BEST LINK I've seen.

It's ALL explained here 👇

Thanks Lisa,
at someone appreciates my research.     Cry

It may not have been the missing person they were going there to locate that had firearms … his brother may have had legal firearms. But the police may not have known who was in that house … just a report of a missing man that used to be a prin.

Then why did 4 cops go there?
Did they have a hint of possible trouble?
