While I have drunk tea/coffee from chipped enamel mugs I prefer a set to maximise enjoyment of meals.

Six coffee mugs all all different shapes/sizes, plates ditto—not conducive to full enjoyment of a great meal. OK for a hurried meal on the move but that is it.

I like plastic straws, all of the replacements are awful.

I hardly ever use these plastic plates but they come in handy on the odd occasion when you need some.
