As opposed to a normal mistake? Merely an
overzealous public servant who was likely on a power trip. If you deal with govt departments often enough you'll find there is nothing odd about it at all.

So you think just one person was responsible?

What do you think of Carl's new picture for the site, FD?

Can we vote on it?

Freeeeeeeedom, innit.

It was reasonable for a twitter ban in response to using Twitter to stage an insurrection that got people killed.

As the instigator of an insurrection Trump should be barred from holding any public office in the future under the terms of the constitutions 14th amendment.

It was an uprising against a tyrannical Swamp, and the citizens are allowed to do that according to their Declaration of Independence ... it's a pity that every citizen in the US didn't join them, the traitorous DemSwamp needs to be brought to heel before they destroy the United States completely

Had that been true Elmer would not have been convicted for sedition.

No, I think they most likely ran a poll on newspoll before deciding.

Careful FreeDiver.

You do realise that the Aboriginal and Islamic cultures are 'Portals' to Africa.
The Stone of Mecca and the Monolith Uluru are much the same to its people's who hold them sacred.
If they have the Copyright on Uluru, let alone this country - then it's best get permission, no?
Afterall, British/American influence on this country is only here by default. When they pack up and go - where will you be? Will you go back to where you came from 'culturally'?

You wanna pass GO and collect your $200 here?
Then you got to make a Sacrifice and pay your way.
Until then. Bend the knee.

I predict you'll remove your OzPolitic 'signage' soon. Wink

No they were there, Mr Trump put them on standby and then later called them to the capital. On the day he told them to go to the capital and to fight like hell. They did as instructed. Its called sedition. They are traitors.

And yet another thread about an Australian issue gets turned into a topic about Trump - a has-been foreign leader that way too many people here have an extremely unhealthy obsession with.  I don't care about your Trump derangement syndrome, but when it starts derailing topics on a regular basis it becomes very annoying.  Roll Eyes

Maybe it's time FD set up a separate forum for all the Trump fanboys to gather and vent their spleen and leave the rest of the place for proper conversation?

A sure sign of the autocratic form of government we have seen developing in the West for years now... ever since those with little to no real life experience and little true earth mother knowledge of Australia started running the show for their own advantage and that of their chosen special interest groups.

As I said - it's always good to know that I am not alone in my views, and that some of the 'world's greatest thinkers' - in discussion of the malaises of the West and why democracy is failing and failing to produce the goods - say the same things.

Essentially - a government department has NO right to dictate to anyone that they cannot use a picture etc of a naturally occurring object.... there is NO copyright on natural formations no matter how much they kow-tow to the ooga-booga of some 'special spiritual connection' etc ... and they can stick it where the sun don't shine!!

Take Back The National Parks!!!  Drain The Swamps and kick out all the Wokers .... they and their department and the government that rules them, do not OWN OUR national parks.... adios and good-bye, assholes...

Power To the People!!!

Auf wiedersehen, assholes...

Here's the original picture, I got the OzPolitic name from The Wayback Machine (went back about 10 years) which showed the forum logo without the fence and the virus added.

I took the fence from the current logo at the top of the forum.

The second image could be the same Hills Hoist from a different angle - looks like it but I can't be 100% sure.
