So the CCP didn't starve 50 million people to death by trying to feed themselves equally, because they themselves were growing fat in the process?

How is that different from here?

You tell me Grapps. Have you ever seen someone starve to death?

1. So the CCP didn't starve 50 million people to death
2.  by trying to feed themselves equally, because
3. they themselves were growing fat in the process?

Answers

1. Correct  (notice the word "didn't")
2. Your error: now the wording is sloppy; it's changed from (government)"trying to feed them all equally" to "feeding themselves equally" which is impossible:  individuals can't "feed themselves equally" because they don't know what the guy down the street is eating.
3. Possibly.

See how FD's fantastical narratives  lead him astray.....

No:  YOU - tripping yourself up in ridiculous narratives -  said it didnt happen:

"So the CCP didn't starve 50 million people to death...."  (when you meant  'starved  50 million', by "trying to feed them all equally" - another confused ignorant narrative based on not understading 'collectivism' in relation to subsitence farmers (a mistake Mao made).  So your mistakes combined just add up to more confused narrative.

Since then the 'Chinese miracle' has eradicated poverty at the fastest rate in history, do try to keep up.

Trump is very concerned by this  reality - and his tariffs are refuted by mainstream economists everywhere.

To wit: stay tuned - a global recession threatens....

So what exactly are you disagreeing with?

Or are you not allowed to agree with what anyone says unless they use CCP-approved phrasing to polish the turd?

(sigh)I'm disagreeing with the blind ideololgy expressed in your thread's heading. .

On the contrary, I want a better world - see the latest MMT post.

PBofC economists are as constricted by the "taboo topic" of money creation, as you, and "independent" central bankers everywhere are.

Now....do you think the CCP would approve of THAT observation?

So when you quote me and say no, you might actually agree with what I say, just not with the title of the thread we are discussing it in?

We have already confirmed you are attempting  to condemn China's political system because of Mao's mistakes 60 years ago.

So you are ignoring the 'Chinese miracle' achieved since 1990.

You are  too ideologically blind  to research money creation; and why national treasuries are forbidden to issue their own currency to fund the public sector where practicable, meaning national governments are forced to tax and borrow from private money lenders (explored in the MMT thread).

Deplorable.

Meanwhile, unlike you, Trumpy is tackling the issue of money creation - he thinks he can eliminate US taxes by imposing tariffs...stay tuned.

And another indication of your egregious blindness is your refusal to acknowledge  my criticism of the PBofC - a criticism which obviously bars me from membership of your "little pinks".

Keep them stupid questions coming, they will reveal your hopeless ideological blindness to others reading this thread, in the end. ....

A modern dictatorship—it’s not just about silencing dissent anymore, it’s about pre-installing it so no one even thinks to dissent in the first place.

Step one: control the narrative.
Start with the media—state-run if you’re old-school, or just ideologically synchronized if you prefer the illusion of choice. Make sure all news outlets deliver the same message, only in different fonts.

Next, rewire the education system.
Begin early. Replace critical thinking with critical theory. In public schools, teach compliance, not curiosity. By university, elevate ideology over evidence. Award PhDs in outrage. Hire professors who believe disagreement is violence and history is optional.

Entertainment is your sugar-coated delivery system.
Use movies, TV, and comedy to package propaganda as “just culture.” Cast obedience as virtue, dissent as extremism, and dictatorship as inclusive leadership. Bonus points if people don't realize they’re being spoon-fed doctrine between Marvel sequels and soft-drink ads.

Censorship? Make it feel like safety.
Ban “misinformation,” which conveniently includes anything inconvenient. Rebrand censorship as “fact-checking,” and de-platform critics in the name of community guidelines. Remember: it’s not suppression—it’s moderation with a smile.

Rewrite history.
This is critical. Turn heroes into villains and villains into early adopters. Erase the bad parts, inflate the good ones, and publish a new edition every semester. If something inconvenient did happen, just say it was “complex” and no longer relevant to modern values.

And of course, repeat everything.
Lies work best when they’re familiar. Say it often, say it confidently, and wrap it in enough emotion to make people too tired to question it.

Bonus tactic: controlled opposition.
Always keep a few “critics” on hand—preferably well-funded, mildly rebellious, and deeply committed to doing absolutely nothing. Let them yell in safe spaces, host panels, and appear on podcasts. They’re there to let the people blow off steam without ever threatening the system. Think of them as ideological airbags.

Voilà—truth becomes a managed product, reality is curated, and the population thanks you for keeping things so wonderfully stable.

Er, the CCP has proven to be the most pragmatic government on the planet while seeking common prosperity,  hence the "Chinese miracle" (according to the World Bank) achieved since Mao's time.

Do try tp keep up.

I am not ignoring it. I am asking you whether, when you say no, you are disagreeing with what I say, or merely with the title of the thread in which I say it. It is your trick again with being infinitely flexible with the truth depending on the "context" in which you are discussing it. Obviously I cannot discuss anything with you in a meaningful way if you can never explain what you mean.

How is starving 50 million people to death, for no good reason, just because you are an imbecile who gained power by killing millions more, "pragmatic"?

How is it meritorious?
