bloke 52 years ago, and has been flown ever since.

And at least it's representative of the indigenes of the country, unlike
the Commonwealth flag with its outdated British Empire canton.

Flags and nations are European concepts, non-existent on the Australian continent until 1770.

An Aboriginal bloke pinched both ideas 52 years ago, together with the idea of copyrighting the flag design. It is representative of nothing but the bloke's idea, as pinched from Europeans, of national symbolism. It's as kitschy and shallow as Disneyland.

No it's not a wonderful place, it's not just the heat the flies and the dust storms, it's the Boongs, I would go so far as to call it the asshole of the universe apart from Tassy and Yemen, the Boongs are thick there and causing untold damage, just like in the Alice.

Aborigines had no flags.

Thee Aboriginal flag was a flash in the pan design by a bloke who was only recently bought out by the government from his copyright for it - another non-existent Aboriginal concept, copyright.

The Aboriginal flag IS a kitschy, stupid late 20th century attempt at symbolism, a Pascoesque attempt to make Aborigines 'European' by using European heraldry in a flag. Aborigines never had flags. The whole thing is a ridiculous load of BS charade.

It's the resentful Bbwianeque/AusGeoff Irish who put them up to it. It's ridiculous.
