Is it lower than the OzFlag?

Of course.  Why does it matter anyway?   They aren't showing allegiance to it, just observance of their prior ownership of the country.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

From the link...

One councillor described the motion as a "divisive proposition... We are all
Australians, and our war dead deserve better than being used in what is
assuredly a political debate," the councillor said.  "I am totally against this
is as I am against anything that divides us as a nation."

Note that this councilor is unnamed.  Too much of a coward to publicly own
this sort of bullshit.

I'm more than happy to see the Aboriginal flag flying outside federal and
state government buildings or other institutional offices; police stations,
schools, post offices, hospitals etc.

Abbos are excellent.

The term "abbos" (or abos) is itself racist Johnnie.     Angry

Quote:
What does Abo mean in Australia?
/ ˈæb oʊ / PHONETIC RESPELLING. Australian Slang: Extremely Disparaging
and Offensive. noun, plural Ab·os. a contemptuous term used to refer to an
Aboriginal person. adjective.

The people of Yass were not asked, probably because they would agree with me.

Submissions about the issue were open to the public, however Ms Jones said key stakeholders decided against holding a public survey.

"The key stakeholder groups considered it to be something that would not benefit from a wide survey,
" she said.

"We could not control that from being hijacked from outside the Yass Valley."

These "stakeholders" made the decision, not the people of Yass.  Roll Eyes

As stated, it would be impossible to prevent a survey being polluted by outsiders, Belgarion.  I see nothing wrong with doing what they did. Smiley

A flimsy excuse to avoid getting the peoples consent for their virtue signalling.  Roll Eyes
