God knows what soccer turns over in the world.
It's more than the GDP of many countries.
There is nothing even approaching the size and importance of soccer.

Table tennis is a game you play when you are drunk. Lawn bowls you play when you are old. I cannot remember having sports competitions at high school that involved table tennis or lawn bowls. We did have soccer.
