You left out a very relevant part of this story... it refers to black woman.

This trend is something that should concern every rational American citizen
who's not beholden to the great God of Firearms. It's certainly not something
to brag about or encourage.

Why would any mother, wife, or daughter need to have a 9 mil or an
AR-15 in the home?

And check out this site blatant encouraging women to shoot people as they see fit.

Yes, it is called an amendment simply because it was written to be included in the original non-amended Constitution. It was originally part of the "Bill of Rights".....the Bill of Rights makes up the first 10 Amendments to the US Constitution.

Why does the Bill of Rights exist/why do those first 10 Amendments exist?

They are the Rights of the American People. They are orders given to the Government about the Rights of the People.....Rights that the Government is forbidden to infringe upon. If they were not included the US Constitution would have not been ratified by the American People......

Just like the US Constitution....they were written by the People to limit the powers of Government.....what the Government was either required to do for the benefit of the People, or what the Government was forbidden to do regarding the Rights of the People. It was the first Constitution ever written by a People, for the sole benefit of the People, & not for the benefit of a Government. Through the US Constitution the American People became completely Self-Governing, & the Government truly became the servants of the People.

That said, all the Amendments can be amended, by a sole procedure within the Constitution itself....The Government can not amend the Constitution......the US Constitution can only be amended by & through the will & consent of the American People.....it is 'The People's Document'.

Another note.......About ±120 Million Law-Abiding American People are firearm owners, & most all of them consistently vote. You can be quite sure they would be keenly involved in any amendment process regarding their firearms.....

GUN Control was & is Absolutely Racist....instituted in post civil war former slave states especially to keep guns out of the hands of freed slaves, leaving them virtually defenseless when they needed self-protection the most.
