The high court’s June 23 decision struck down a New York law that required people to show a specific need to carry a firearm in public. And it means similar laws in five other states, including Hawaii, are now unconstitutional. Roberts likely won’t receive his gun permits until the legislature amends state law or the state attorney general issues new guidance, but he is eager to carry a gun outside his home because he is convinced it will make him safer.

“We finally have our Second Amendment rights affirmed,” said Roberts, who is director of the Hawaii Firearms Coalition.

Elated gun rights advocates say the Supreme Court’s decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen has opened the door to overturning many other state gun restrictions.....

According to Court Trends Inc., since this SCOTUS decision over 10,000 lawsuits have been initiated Countrywide to overturn over-reaching State firearm restrictions!

Really, then thank God for OUR US Supreme Court, because when they interpret OUR US Constitution, there is no higher resource for the US Government, US Law Enforcement, & lower US Appellate Courts to follow......

You on the Left can cry Crocodile Tears on what you think OUR Second Amendment means....what you think means absolutely nothing whatsoever, & will never mean anything!!

Everyone knows, you can't appeal a US Supreme Court Decision....their word on ALL legal matters is FINAL!!

I fully support American 'civilians' right to own a gun.
It's as justified as Islam having a gun until they get their Messiah to die for their 'gun' sins and bring an end to their 'Empire' (Military).

Mid-East:
Israel = guns
Islam = guns

USA:
Military = guns

It was ratified in 1791, so I'm guessing they were referring to single-shot muskets that could fire about 3 rounds per minute, had a muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second, and were accurate to a range of about 50 metres.

Panther, however, wants a rifle with a 30-round magazine that fires 45 rounds a minute, has a muzzle velocity of 3,260 feet per second, and is accurate for up to 550 metres.

Not sure that's what they were talking about in the 2nd amendment.
