No, it is all about how you ask those questions. Fatherless homes seem to be the greatest contributor to criminal behavior! The solution is simple, go to Church, get Married and raise a Family! You really live in some dark fantasy world. Until the Presidency of Bill Clinton many democrat members of congress were strong gun rights supporters. Democrat Senators and Representatives from conservative districts regularly voted pro second amendment! Many were life members of the NRA. There was a day when Clinton gathered democrat members of congress for a photo op where he instructed them to vote party line in the future and not for the best interests of the people who elected them. Ever since only a few rarely vote against the Party. It was possible to be a conservative democrat until that consolidation of power went into effect. People that didn't go along lost in their primaries or retired.

Clearly your point of view has nothing to do with public safety or you might care about fentanyl overdoses or medical mistakes each of which cause more then one hundred thousand deaths annually in the US.
