No wonder the Ancients were struck by the majesty of the heavens.... the endless sea and river of stars in the Outback... shooting stars... solar and lunar eclipses.... and now the satellites and other things up there... the Old Dog and I would sometimes be out in mid-Winter at 3 am looking at the stars in sub-zero ..... very philosophical hound he was... gaze at the majesty of the night sky..... so clear and beautiful.... then there was that first light co-ordination of Venus, Mars and something else.... magnificent....

I should have been an astronomer....

All those memories.... just tear drops in the rain.......

It's a completely different scenario here. Hubby's watching "Apocalypse Now - The Final Cut". I can't stand stuff like that so I can't watch the screen for more than a few moments at a time. Right now I'm sitting here trying to understand if perpetual senseless conflict is the defining essence of humanity and its reason for existing 🥺
