My pie was better than yours, Bobby.

I doubt it.   Undecided

This pie is a tasty combination of generous chunks of rump steak in a thick Guinness-based gravy, baked in a pie dish covered with a fine layer of filo pastry. The result is delicious, and I’m prepared to claim it as the perfect mountains pub meal, and for $20.

My pie was so yummy -
soft succulent large pieces of beef with delicious herbs.
The pastry was also perfect.

I don’t quite understand how some say… they never cook  Shocked
With a family and all too. What do the family eat

I know a lady who wanted to rip out her kitchen completely to make room for a larger living area ... she said she never used it anyway and it was just dead space

She had two young kids and was expecting her third when she said it.

Thinking about this today, would she still keep a refrigerator?

Meals at the Rocky Sports Club or the Frenchville Sports Club always consist of me getting a crumbed steak and vegetables. There is no other way around it. They would have to be doing a three course all-you-can-eat buffet for me to alternate meal selection.

My dinner was young leeks, trimmed, cut in half longways, arranged in a roasting pan or shallow casserole, drizzled with EVOO then sprinkled with cheese and baked at 180°C for 20 minutes.

A side dish, but I was the only one eating so made it my meal. Make sure the leeks are tender and eat them, preferably off a plate not the roasting dish.

Very tasty!
