I have some lovely young leeks, some carrots, thinking of keeping the leeks whole (maybe halved, ditto the carrots) and cooking them in the oven. Maybe a cheese sauce or bechamel?

I always have a batch of home made hummus in the fridge which the kids love as a side with all veggies, raw, steamed or roasted.
