Nigerian Prince Scammed By Somali Immigrant

LAGOS, NIGERIA — In yet another case of fraud perpetrated by Somalis, a Nigerian prince fell prey to an online scam perpetrated by a Somali immigrant.

Prince Adetokunbo Ademola of Nigeria was the victim of an email scam where he was asked to provide his bank info in order to purportedly assist a wealthy Somali man in transferring his riches out of Somalia.

"The message just sounded so genuine," sighed Prince Ademola. "It seemed like he was the rightful heir of this tremendous wealth, but he couldn't get the money out of Somalia. All he needed was a friend with an outside bank account. Now, my royal bank account has been completely drained. I feel so stupid!"

Police were able to track down the perpetrators and located the $17 million that was stolen. "The Somali immigrant who wrote the email, he can't even spell or use proper grammar. I can't believe anyone falls for these," said Officer Michael Stanton. "Though, having read emails from Nigerian princes before, I guess maybe it makes sense why it worked on him."

At publishing time, the Nigerian prince had sent several emails to people in America asking if anyone had a bank account that he could use to receive the stolen money, believing the security to be better in America. Sadly, no one replied to his emails.

Despite the two migrant rapists being aged 17 years old, Judge Sylvia de Bertodano decided that it was in the public interest to reveal their names at Warwick crown court on Monday. This came despite warnings from the defence that disclosing their names and nationality could spark “widespread public disorder” and protests as occurred over the summer in response to other sexual assaults committed by illegal boat migrants.

During the trial, the defence also attempted to excuse the rape of the 15-year-old girl by citing “cultural differences” and the supposed trauma experienced by the rapists while growing up in their native Afghanistan.

Afghan and Syrian Migrants Up to Ten Times More Likely to Be Suspected of Crimes in Germany

Afghan and Syrian nationals are significantly overrepresented among suspects of violent crimes in Germany, according to official statistics.

This week, the Bild newspaper revealed some of the data from Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) report “Crime in the Context of Immigration” demonstrating that some foreign groups were much more likely to be suspected of serious crimes than German nationals.

When looking at violent crimes, there was a rate of 163 suspects per 100,000 Germans in 2024. In contrast, the rate for Afghan nationals stood at 1,722 suspects per 100,000 inhabitants. Meanwhile, the rate for Syrian nationals was 1,740 suspects per 100,000 inhabitants, or more than ten times the rate of German citizens.

Apparently the guy who disarmed one is Ahmed al Ahmed......

"A bystander who tackled and disarmed one of the gunmen in a terror attack in which 12 people were killed at a Hanukkah event at Bondi Beach on Sunday has been identified by local media as 43-year-old father of two, Ahmed al Ahmed.

A video of the incident that has been broadcast repeatedly across Australian television channels and viewed millions of times on social media shows a man grabbing one of the gunmen as he fired on a crowd, before taking the gun from him and pointing it at him. He then carefully lays the firearm against a tree while a second gunman opens fire towards him from a bridge.

7News reported that Ahmed is from Sydney’s Sutherland Shire and owns a fruit business. He was visiting Bondi Beach when the shooting occurred.

TIME could not independently confirm the identity of the bystander in the video. "

He was shot several times after he laid the gun against the tree.

He's in hospital, but apparently will be okay.
