The government needs the continual immigration economic hit so as to continue to inflate housing prices and keep the housing industry afloat, otherwise the whole rotten economic pyramid will collapse. In fact, the bi-partisan political agreement of the past thirty years to continue massive immigration has been in spite of growing community anger over the changing face of the nation.

Australia is currently in a very dangerous situation,

And almost nobody in the leadership class is even aware of it.
We have invited the barbarians inside the walls and
the clock is ticking on when the very real consequences of that foolishness unfold.
