POUTY

I usually alternate between POUTY and ALIEN as my starter words. Sometimes I'll try the one starter a few times in a row rather that strictly change it each day.

I try to maximise the vowel count as soon as possible.

Although ALIEN was my one and only ace result a long time ago, I still use it because of the vowels. My understanding is that Wordle never repeats the word that was the solution previously but I still like it because it covers 3 vowels.
POUTY is also a good starter because it covers 2 vowels and a vowel sound: "Y".

I don't look for the list of prior results as some people do so I don't know if POUTY has ever been the solution. So I am hopeful that it might come up one day. Even if it has been the answer previously, I still like it as a starter because it covers the "Y" and 2 vowels.

Interesting!

I use AUDIO because of the vowels and usually followed by something with E and Y in it if possible.
