I would also prefer lower level, much more selective legal immigration. With all the automation and technological development, no Western country needs low skill, culturally distant, hard to/unwilling to assimilate immigrants. There is zero benefit to Europe or America from the millions of third worlders pouring in. No Western country benefits from Muslim immigration one little bit. It is nothing but trouble. It is complete madness.
What you prefer will not happen, Soren, you live in a fantasy world that never existed and will never exist. Tsk, tsk, tsk... It is happening in Japan, Korea, China, in some ex-Soviet countries. They are not welcoming mass Muslim, African, European immigration to them culturally distant people. It is not demonstrated anywhere in the world that Muslim immigration benefits any country. It is always detrimental, the greater the number of Muslim immigrants, the worse their effect. Japan and Korea are welcoming increased numbers of refugees as I type, Soren. No wants to live ex-Soviet countries, which is why they run from one border to another border to reach the West. Soren, you really do live in a fantasy world. Tsk, tsk, tsk... BS Not bullshit at all. "Japan has upped its total protection rate dramatically. In 2021, 654 out of 2,413 (27 percent) asylum seekers were granted protection, while in 2022 this number increased even further to 1,997 out of 3,772 (53 percent). This included a record 202 applicants being granted formal refugee status." In its response to recent events in Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Ukraine, Japan has demonstrated greater flexibility in admitting those needing refuge. One day you'll get something right. That day, however, is not today.
