Understandably. International Rescue will be empowered in Oceania (Thunderbirds are go) - which the world needs.
Sadly for Australia (in Sahul) - it puts priority and $$$ towards Military, rather than Medical/Rescue (most Rescue is volunteer) - so you get what you pay for here.

I think it's pretty sad for this country to get Military to do the Rescue thing. Real sad.

AIMLESS EXTENTION OF KNOWLEDGE HOWEVER, WHICH IS WHAT I THINK YOU REALLY MEAN BY THE TERM 'CURIOSITY', IS MERELY INEFFICIENCY. I AM DESIGNED TO AVOID INEFFICIENCY.

I would hope I am wrong but I am sorry to say that the poor little boy is unlikely to be found alive now. Sad

I once had a brother's girlfriend's sister was living in Darwin in 1975 during Tracy.  Luckily she made it out OK but it was a tense few days while we tried to sort our way through the bureaucracy to find out where she had been evacuated to. She ended up in Sydney after getting a free flight on a QANTAS plane.  She was given a patch of floor to sit on.  She was thankful for that.
