She most certainly is. Ms Durham is a true lady.

She was quite happy to appear at Carols By Candlelight at the Myers Music Bowl each year, unlike some.

I wish to dedicate this poem (which I originally wrote a few years ago) to a wonderful Australian woman - Olivia Newton John who inspired me personally. I still can't believe she's no longer with us.

Sunset - by Lisa Jones

Gazing into a sunset blazing with fire
I breathe Mother Nature's air of desire
I stand in its awe as I deeply admire
Perfection that settles down to retire.

Rest in my arms and be one with me.
Let's journey the unknown and set ourselves free
Understand and unlock this mystery
Love has a heart and your soul is the key.

And if God is love then I feel God in my heart
I feel God in my bones as you watch me depart
I've mastered Life's pain and I've mastered Love's art
I've learned all my lines and I've played out my part.

When you feel the wind touching your face
It is but my ghost trying to embrace
A time that only memory can retrace
A love that is God in our private, personal space.

It is so silly, corny and daggy yet it takes you in.

My daughter felt that Olivia held in a lot of pain… divorce, then 2nd hubby disappearing… miscarriages….then the wretched “C”…. And her constant involvement with charities and that beautiful cancer research centre.
Wanting to help others in the same boat journey.
We have lost family to C…. my hubby’s mum was 57 and had the exact same BC as Libby. My bro passed 2 years ago from C… he was 61.
It’s weird… like gaping holes in life. Embarrassed

We lost a great star today.
She was never pretentious and you always felt that

Well yes, this is so. Libby did introduce our national food to the Yanks. Granted, there was a slight lift in Vegemite sales.
