I’m feeling shattered at these news of deaths from two Australian female singers I loved and grew up with. As most of us did.
I recall how a 16 year old Olivia went overseas with Pat Carroll I think it was. When I saw Olivia for the first time in the newspaper about this trip… I thought how beautiful she was! I recall when she was in the USA doing songs and movies… how they likened her clean image with Doris Day and Olivia said she was honoured and flattered to be compared to Doris.

RIP Olivia…. We will all miss you xx

Seems so many people are going through, or have been through trauma associated with cancer.

We still choke on our tea when Let's Get Physical comes on, it's disgusting. They had to black out parts of the screen on Countdown.

You Americans spoiled her. You jizzed on her face and threw a handful of crumpled dollar bills at her, it's awful. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

She was quite a catch before you people got your hands on her. Now look at her - dead, penniless and in the gutter, probably a needle stuck in her arm. Libby's sad demise should be a cautionary tale to us all.

Those were the days, Lols. That was the Libby we all remember, before the sharks and hustlers got to her. With the right direction, she could have had a career like Patti Newton -  appearing regularly on This Is Your Life (she knew everybody), the odd advert for denture powder and a double page family spread each month in the Women's Weekly.

Now, that's tasteful. No aerobics videos, no awful Las Vegas shows and no appearances on Hey Hey It's Saturday.

I literally am moved to tears when I read this - reminds me of my lovely cousin who died far too young of the Dread BC.  She was a Libran, too. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.
