They've got more voices per capita than anyone else in this nation... if you want to swallow propaganda, go for it....

After listening to Albo's speech today, I'm going to vote in the affirmative....even though I don't believe in a separate "voice" based on race.

One thing is certain: those subject to generational poverty (regardless of race)  don't have a voice, partly because economic ideologues like you claim we can all equally successfully compete in a neoliberal economy.  You are about to be exposed (when the referendum passes,   and the houses still aren't being repaired....and white people are still laying in their faeces in nursing homes...)

Hence I do believe in a voice for the voiceless, regardless of race.

And after the referendum is passed, it will soon become clear to everyone that a voice calling for "decency" (ie, overcoming entrenched disadvantage and poverty) will be ineffective, without a change to the current system of funding government via borrowing from private financiers...and taxes on private citizens.

If that were true - that alone should stop you from voting in the affirmative.

The reasons you outlay regarding changing the system should not be the reason for voting that way.

You judge for yourselves..... but do take the time and energy.

Where's MY Voice to Parliament?  Am I out of line here?

You've lost me with that one Graps as soon as I saw Marcia Langtons name on it.

She's a double dealer who is on the payroll of the resource sector yet makes out she's championing Aboriginal causes.

He'd vote yes because it would undermine the parliamentary system he despises.

That's the only principle guiding him.

It would appear that all you have is to support identity politics & racial division in your virtue signaling.

There's a massive gulf between woke Australia and the rest of us.

I haven't decided on whether I support it or not yet. I'm waiting to see more. At the moment I don't care either way.

The difference is that unlike you, I'm not going to get into a lather over it .

Despite your penchant for descriptive melodramatics .....

I'm not in a lather over it, I'm expressing my opposition to it.

It was interesting watching Insiders today where Albo would not be drawn on any details about what the Voice body would look like nor if it would have appointed people to it or have elected people into it.

The 3 Aboriginal people on todays panel discussing the Voice all had different ideas about how it might look. Some saying it would actually be a building filled with people, that it would need power and control over funding. Linda Burney was seen in a clip clearly saying it would be elected members to the Voice. Albo not saying how they would be selected.

It seems to be a half-baked proposition at this point.

I reckon the "No" vote would be at about 20% at the moment so I am clearly in the minority but I think the "No" vote will increase over the coming months as people grapple with the actual details about how the Voice "lobby group" would actually work.

Smith has a Lefty penchant for exaggerating the impact of his nonsense on others while ranting and raving in reality himself... poor Lefty - you look at the people who rant only here form 'Up There' and note that he comes from 'Up There' and you get a good idea what you're dealing with.  DUM!

Don't get all lathered up, Johnny - we've just begun to slice and dice this silly idea...

As probably the single honest broker here among the fools, I put that there for open and free discussion, and to show that this has been a long time coming and there are 270 pages of waffle about it.

Marcia Langton says that it would be terrible to waste ten year's work - well - somebody should tell her that some people spent a lifetime working for a better life to see it smashed into the ground by every PC idiot group in town.... and this is where they get off the bus...

Wait until Lefty's world burns down with this one... he might cut his wrists...

Sent Albo an email last night about it....

NO vote here runs 8/3 at the moment.... we must all be fascists or something...

Love the ideas some of them have on that 'side' - a building filled with people being paid to do pharkall and cop hefty cash etc... FFS ... people will slowly wake up about this and will end up voting NO.  It's up to good people and true to get the real message out there.......

I just think if we're going to murder a country, we should maybe talk about it all first......

Look at Albo jellyfishing all over the place over it... all he is in reality is a captive mouth-piece for the dumbass Woke garbage that have taken over Labor... and you know who they all are and what they want .. they made it clear before the election.  I didn't vote for them... I don't vote for that kind of despotism of a self-appointed and self-serving elite who feel Entitlement™ to whatever they feel.

Poor Fellow - My Country..... with this range of choices to be its governing body....  Cry  Cry  Cry
