Australia's GHG Targets

This bill has now entered the House.

It suffers a major drawback in that it doesn't show any plan to achieve the stated outcome.

This is the same problem that the UK "Net Zero" Bill suffers.

The UK High Court has said that it needs to be revisited.

"Ground 2: the Section 14 ground
The defendant failed to include in the NZS the information legally
required to discharge his reporting obligations under s.14 CCA, namely:

(i) an explanation for his conclusion that the proposals and policies
within the NZS will enable the carbon budgets to be met;

(ii) an estimate of the contribution each of those proposals and
policies is expected to make to required emissions reductions in
so far as they are judged to be quantifiable; and

(iii) the time-scales over which those proposals and policies are
expected to have that effect"

What does GHG stand for ... "General Household Generator"?

That's what I'll install at home because of the continuing power outages, over 270 since 2013 ... there was 3 yesterday

My target for installation will be Dec this year. My pollution target? - who cares? I need uninterrupted electricity. I'll have a switch inside for the generator

I have electronic devices including phone, printers, scanners, battery chargers, satellite receiver ... and they've got to stay on, or be ready when needed

It'll be a good day when the Libs and Labs take a hike and move to another Planet, they can annoy sh!t out of aliens and leave us in peace here on Earth

There goes phone and modem, and then it depends on what Uninterruptible Power Supply that you have attached to your computer and ancillaries.
