Hydrogen leaks, being such a small molecule (basically just a proton.) The escaped hydrogen will combine with the hydroxyl (OH-) ions that are the “detergent of the atmosphere.”

Still an internal combustion engine unless you are talking about hydrogen fuel cells?

Fossil fuel cannot be used to provide the energy to split H20 and gain any advantage. That's a problem for mass production of hydrogen.

Using solar for hydrogen production can be considered a battery.

Toyota and Yamaha have built a clean burning 5L V8 engine to run on Hydrogen.

Amonia looks good for Hydrogen production storage and transport it's one Nitrogen atom for 3 Hydrogen atoms. Try Google lots of info for that.

Methane is also used/proposed for storage and transport of hydrogen.

Hydrogen is explosive in a wide range of mix ratios should it leak.

We know you're a dopey mong try to keep up.

Methane is CH4 so you still have the carbon atom to deal with, Amonia is NH3 so it's carbon free and we have numerous uses for Nitrogen.

Try educating yourself- https://cen.acs.org/business/petrochemicals/ammonia-fuel-future/99/i8

I don't think anyone believes you have studied science.

You simpleton  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

Carbon could be returned to the hydrogen production plant as CO2. Have a look through this board and you will see a post citing an article about the use of methane.
